Important Information about Tracking Numbers:
It's crucial to understand how tracking numbers are handled based on the order details:
- If the name on the order from Amazon does not match the name on the order of the actual client, the tracking number won't be pulled into the tracking number field. Instead, it will be placed in the "notes" section of the order with the message:
“Found tracking number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX but was not added because it was considered to be for a double dropship order (the address associated with the TN does not match the order address).”
This makes the tracking number searchable but doesn't push it to the marketplace to confirm the shipment.
- Conversely, if the buyer's name from the marketplace does match the name to which you are shipping, the tracking number will be pulled into the tracking number field. If that happens, our system will try to confirm the shipment on the marketplace. Therefore, it's essential to be cautious when placing orders to ensure accuracy.
By following these steps and guidelines, you can effectively manage your Amazon shipments using the OAGenius Sage Chrome extension. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for assistance.
