Settings > Account Settings
First, You must set up and customize your Account Settings.
To get here you are going to have to Navigate within OAGenius to the "Settings" Page by which you will find on the bottom left hand side of the page.
1) Daily Inventory Backup
Enable this feature to backup your inventory to receive an email with a list of your current inventory.
This feature is best for people who like to keep their products really close to them and if you sometimes get worried about something not being available at any point in time.
2) Notifications (Email)
This first feature allows you to receive a notification regarding any unfulfilled orders that must be shipped within a certain amount of days.
This will help you lay out which items need your attention so you can follow up with the supplier in order to get those shipments out asap.
We recommend to always have this feature enabled and you have it set to at least ONE DAY before an order needs to be shipped out.
b. "Out of stock inventory comes back in stock while an order is in "Pending" status"
If you have this feature enabled, you will get an email notification, as well as a notification inside OAGenius, letting you know if an item is back in stock on the source site for that pending order.
c. "Order is placed with negative profit"
The last setting in notification is order place with negative profit.
This feature is less important when you are working within the system by yourself and more important when you have employees placing orders for you.
It will help you track placing an order for negative profit so you can make quick amendments to what happened.
You might not want to look at every single order as long as there's profit which is why we added this feature.
Examples Of What May Have Caused Negative Profit Include:
1. An error with the way the item was sourced
2. An error with the way the item was listed
3. The person who placed the order accidentally placed the wrong quantity
Once you have completed this section, Go ahead and click "Save".
