Repricing Basics
- We push individual price updates immediately if the buy box price changes.
- Even if we don't receive a buy box change notification from Walmart, we check for one every hour.
- We bulk push updates that are not related to competition price changing i.e. min/max settings updates or total cost of an item updated from the supplier, every 7 minutes.
- We know exactly who is on the listing and at what prices.
- Marketplace selling fees are not included in the initial calculation
How to Enable Repricing
Navigate to Settings > Repricing Settings > flip the switch to "Enabled" > set parameters and save your settings.
Note: This will remove any API integrations we have with other repricers.
Min Price
The minimum price is the lowest price that you are willing to sell each product for.
- Choose between a fixed "%" or "$" based on the total cost of each listing
For example, if you entered (Cost + 29%) + $1.00 as your minimum price, then your minimum price for all listings would be 30% above the total cost of each listing plus $1.00. - We will never reprice you below your minimum price
If your current price on Walmart is below the minimum price when you first enabled repricing, we will reprice you upwards to your minimum price.
Max Price
The maximum price is the highest price that you are willing to sell each product for.
- Choose between a fixed "%" or "$" based on the total cost of each listing
For example, if you entered (Cost + 50%) + $1.00 as your max price, then your maximum price for all listings would be 50% above the total cost of each listing plus $1.00. - We will never reprice you above your maximum price
If your current price on Walmart is above the maximum price when you first enabled repricing, we will reprice you downwards to your maximum price.
Note: Maximum price is used to keep you from being removed from the listing for a "reasonable price not satisfied" error from Walmart. The full error is as follows:
"Customers would save drastically by purchasing these items on a competing website. When the unpublished item price is back within an acceptable range, the item will be republished."
Repricing Strategy
The repricing strategy section is where you tell our system how you want your products repriced. OAGenius will reprice your listings between the minimum and maximum selling thresholds set.
You can choose to compete as follows:
- Below (Minus) the buy box price by a certain "$" or "%"
- Above (Plus) the buy box price by a certain "$" or "%"
- Match the buy box price
For example, if the "buybox offset" is set to minus $1.50, then our system will price you $1.50 below the buy box price.
Notes:
- If repricing to $1.50 below the buy box price would put you below your minimum price, your price will be set to your minimum price. We will never overstep your minimum or maximum selling thresholds.
- When there is no competition on the listing we will not reprice your item.
Listings Page
Once repricing is enabled, you will be able to see the following information on the Listings Page.
- Min/Max price
- Current price
- Buybox price
- Number of competitors on the listing
- Estimated profit (at your current selling price)
Note: You also have the option to turn on/off repricing for that specific listing.
Hosted File URL (FTP)
One way is via the hosted CSV file that can be pulled against at any point in time. We host this file, and any software with the URL will continuously have access to the SKU, COST, CURRENCY, and CHANNEL (optional) of your products.
The four column headers in the file are: SKU, COST, and CURRENCY, CHANNEL
If your repricing software has the ability to accept the files from an ftp or something of that nature, you can simply drop the link into their software for easy access. You can also contact the support team of the repricing software you use and ask them to point to this ftp and pull the cost on each of your SKU's. A good repricer can build your minimum and maximum thresholds off of the cost we are sending.
